Following

The ducklings are now kinda following me when I go out in the yard with them :). They started out just follwing me when I am sitting on the ground, but now they can follow me when I'm walking :)

Swimming

Sorry about not updating for awhile. It's just been so busy with these ducklings @_@. They are getting bigger each day! They are almost twice their original size, and they're only 5 or 6 days old! They are also getting very, very, very messy! I can't believe how fast they're growing! They are still very cute. They are already producing their own oil and don't get wet while swimming anymore.

We've been taking them out to swim in an old sandbox filled with water. They love it! They are diving underneath the water, and they look like little penguins! (my mom is talking through this whole video, lol)

In other news,my dad finished building their pen for when they move outside. It looks really nice. "Thanks for reading!! :)"

Nine! =)

We have nine ducklings total! They are all dry now and are super cute! :) They are so active and eager to explore their new home. They love water, and are pooping machines! haha... They have already formed all different personalities.

We have to give two away though :( I can only keep seven. We found somebody that will take very good care of them :).

Whoops!

Whooopps! I guess I was to excited at 5:00am too see clearly. They are not twins. :c The other shell looked like it wasn't cracked through, but it actually was I guess. haha... ^_^; We moved the two to the brooder, and they are resting now, I bet they're tired.

YAY! Another duck just hatched! He's drying out in the incubator now. :) I got a part of it on video. I'll upload it when I get the chance.

Two are here!

Two ducklings have hatched! My brother woke up at 5:00 am and told me. :) Here's them cuddling their brother/sister There are still nine eggs that are pipped (or further) still to hatch. But here’s the weird thing, there is only one open egg shell, and all of the other ones are left to be pecked open. Could these two ducklings have come from one egg? Is that possible? The egg is slightly bigger than the others, but it doesn’t look like enough room to fit two ducklings! Weird, huh?
